先日NYで行われたOneShowAwardでamana.jpがMerit賞の栄誉を頂いた。

世界のAwardでFinalistだけでも光栄なことなのに、
こういう結果になって本当に心から嬉しい。

敬愛するイギリスの友人、rob few。

LondonとBangkokをベースに活動するphotographer。

robと話すとき、いつも彼は同じ場所にはいない。
先日chatで話したとき、彼はモンゴルにいた。
アジアを巡っているのだという。
redcrossのメンバーと共に辺境を撮っている。

彼の写真を初めて見たとき、
奥底に響くものを捉えていると感じた。
ありのままの奥底を、飾らずに。

言い表すには難しい感覚だけど。

とにも最近、俗念が多いので彼のようなtravelerと話すことが
とても有意義な時間に感じる。
いつの日かLondonか東京で、いやそれとも世界のどこかで
彼と冷えてないビールでも飲みながら懐かしい話でもしてみたい。
